Frank Lampard makes Champions League prediction about Chelsea
Frank Lampard assesses Chelsea's hopes of winning the Champions League this season under Antonio Conte

Frank Lampard is confident that Chelsea have what it takes to win the Champions League title this season under Antonio Conte.
It has been something of a mixed start to the new campaign for the west London side, who have already suffered four defeats in the Premier League this season to leave their hopes of defending their title in doubt.
Chelsea are currently the outsiders to win the title, with the Manchester clubs leading the way at the top of the table this season.
The Blues were beaten 1-0 by West Ham United in the Premier League at the London Stadium on Saturday lunchtime as they crashed to their fourth defeat of the season in the top flight.
Chelsea’s hopes of winning a major trophy then may come in the Champions League, with Conte’s men having secured their place in the last 16 as group runners up.
And former Chelsea star Lampard feels confident that the Blues will be one of the major threats in Europe’s elite club competition this season.
Speaking to BT Sport last week, Lampard said: “Success for a club like Chelsea is to win it [the Champions League]. That’s a fact – and at this point they’ve got a long way to go.
“I liked the confidence of Eden Hazard [in the post match interview last week].
“I do believe that Chelsea, on their game, can go to tough places and get results.
“If they’ve got the players fit and the organisation that Conte brings to the table, of course they can go very far. But there are so many quality teams. We’ll see.”
Chelsea will learn their opponents for the last 16 of the Champions League when the draw is made in Nyon on Monday morning.
