Ray Wilkins admits Chelsea star’s improvement has amazed him
Ray Wilkins has been delighted by Andreas Christensen's performances for Chelsea this season

Ray Wilkins has lavished praise on Andreas Christensen following his impressive form for Chelsea so far this season.
The Danish defender has been earning plenty of positive reviews for his performances for the west London side after he returned to the club last summer following a two-season loan spell at German side Borussia Monchengladbach.
The 21-year-old has clearly been impressing manager Antonio Conte in recent weeks and he has been doing enough to keep David Luiz out of the first team at Stamford Bridge.
Christensen has made 14 Premier League appearances for Chelsea so far this season and has also featured four times in the Champions League.
Crucially though, the defender has already started 11 of Chelsea’s 18 Premier League games this term as Conte clearly indicates the trust he has in the youngster.
And former Chelsea coach Wilkins has admitted that he has been stunned with how well the defender has been performing in recent weeks.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live, Wilkins said: “Christensen deserves a lot of credit. He went away to Monchengladbach.
“He has come back a bloke because he has played all the time. He looks different class.”
Christensen will be hoping to feature for Chelsea when the Blues return to Premier League action on Saturday lunchtime with a crunch clash against Everton at Goodison Park.
The west London side are currently third in the table and 14 points behind leaders Manchester City.
