Phil Neville makes worrying prediction about Antonio Conte at Chelsea
The ex-Man United defender doesn't envisage Antonio Conte lasting much longer in the Chelsea hot seat

Phil Neville doesn’t believe Antonio Conte will last much longer at Chelsea.
The Blues boss has endured a tough start to the 2017-18 Premier League season following a return of three victories in their opening eight games.
Chelsea have lost their last two Premier League games following a 1-0 loss to Manchester City at Stamford Bridge before a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the division’s basement club Crystal Palace.
Of course, the defending champions lost 3-2 to Burnley in their Premier League opener at Stamford Bridge to raise concerns about their ability to retain the title.
Conte has been critical of the lack of squad depth in his Chelsea team over the past couple of months as the Italian coach continues to aim little digs at his board.
Chelsea squandered a 2-0 lead to draw 3-3 with AS Roma in the Champions League in midweek to prompt serious concerns about the Blues team’s lack of depth.
Former Manchester United defender Neville doesn’t expect Conte to last too much longer at Stamford Bridge following a tough start to the 2017-18 campaign.
“He hasn’t been happy since coming back,” Neville told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“A title-winning manager came back. He didn’t get the players he wanted. The writing looks on the wall. He won’t be at Chelsea for much longer this season.”
Chelsea won the Premier League title with two games to spare last term after the defending champions finished seven points clear of Tottenham Hotspur.
