Chelsea ‘determined’ to sign 24-year-old in £35m deal before deadline – report
Chelsea are keen to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal before the transfer deadline

Chelsea are determined to try and sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal this summer in a £35m deal, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the Blues have made a “new move” to try and land the England international as they look to bring in a number of new signings before the transfer window closes next Thursday.
The same report states that Chelsea are hoping that Oxlade-Chamberlain will tell Arsene Wenger that he wants to move to Stamford Bridge before the close of the transfer window.
The story also claims that Chelsea have now tabled a £35m bid to try and secure the signing of the England international this summer.
The article goes on to report that Oxlade-Chamberlain has already told Wenger that he will not sign a new contract at The Emirates, with his current deal set to expire at the end of the season.
It is also claimed that the midfielder is unlikely to change his mind, even if Arsenal were to offer him a new deal worth more than £100,000 a week.
Arsenal are currently preparing to take on Liverpool at Anfield in their next Premier League game as they look to bounce back from their 1-0 loss to Stoke last weekend.
