Chelsea are in talks to sign Real Madrid right-back Danilo this summer, according to Aidan Magee
Chelsea are in talks to sign Real Madrid defender Danilo for £28m, according to Sky Sports reporter Aidan Magee.
The Blues have been linked with a number of players over the last few weeks as Antonio Conte gears up for his second campaign in charge at the west London club.
Brazilian right-back Danilo has been touted as a possible target for the Blues as Conte looks to add depth to his squad in the full-back positions.
Now, Sky Sports News HQ reporter Magee has claimed that the Blues are in talks to try and prise the 25-year-old away from Real Madrid this summer.
Speaking on Sky Sports News HQ on Wednesday evening, Magee said: “Chelsea are in talks to sign the Real Madrid right-back Danilo. The fee would be around £28m. Juventus are also interested.”
Chelsea, who won the title last season, confirmed their second signing of the summer last Sunday when they tied up a deal to bring defender Antonio Rudiger to the club from Roma.
The Blues are preparing for their second campaign under Conte as they look to defend their Premier League title and make a mark on the Champions League next season.
