Nemanja Matic fires warning at Chelsea ahead of Man United showdown
Nemanja Matic says it is too early to say which teams will challenge for the Premier League title this season

Nemanja Matic has warned Manchester United’s title rivals that there is still a long way to go in the race for the Premier League crown.
Manchester United returned to winning ways in the top flight on Saturday lunchtime when they beat Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford thanks to Anthony Martial’s goal.
Chelsea also managed to keep pace with Manchester City after the Blues sealed a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday night.
Manchester City are still leading the way at the top of the Premier League table and are five points ahead of Manchester United and nine points ahead of Chelsea.
Matic knows a thing or two about winning Premier League titles after he helped Chelsea to win the top-flight crown in both 2014-15 and 2016-17.
And the Serbian midfielder says that it’s too early to rule any of the top teams out of the title race this season.
Matic is quoted as saying by Metro: “It’s hard to say after 10 games that someone is going to be champion. In two games everything can change.
“You have Manchester City, us, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham so with five or six teams it is going to be a big fight until the end and we will see in May.”
Chelsea return to Champions League action on Tuesday night when they take on Roma at Stamford Bridge.
Manchester United also play in the Champions League in midweek when they host Benfica in front of their home fans at Old Trafford, before next Sunday’s showdown with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
