Chelsea and Manchester United will both consider moves for Dortmund winger Ousmane Dembele this summer, say reports
Chelsea and Manchester United will consider moves to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Ousmane Dembele this summer after he snubbed a move to Barcelona, according to reports.
The Daily Star, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the 20-year-old winger has opted against a move to Camp Nou this summer.
It is claimed that Barcelona were interested in Dembele when he quit French side Rennes and opted to sign for Dortmund last summer.
But now it appears that Dembele is not interested in a move to Barcelona this summer either.
The same report claims that will prompt both Chelsea and Manchester United to make moves to sign the winger, who scored 10 goals and made 21 assists for Dortmund last season.
The same article dismisses claims that Dembele was heading to Manchester City to link up with Pep Guardiola this summer, and that the race for his signature will now be between Chelsea and Manchester United.
Both clubs are set to want to significantly bolster their squads this summer as they prepare for returns to the Champions League next season.
