Antonio Conte told Chelsea are starting to miss Man United signing
Chelsea are missing Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic, Shaun Wright-Phillips tells Antonio Conte

Shaun Wright-Phillips has claimed that Chelsea are only starting to feel Nemanja Matic’s absence now following Manchester City’s 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
The defending Premier League champions made the bizarre decision to sell the Serbia international to their direct title rivals Manchester United in a £40m deal in the summer transfer window.
Matic was part of two Chelsea’s title-winning teams in 2015 and 2017 but the defensive midfielder opted to move to Old Trafford to link up with Jose Mourinho.
The former Benfica midfielder has already helped to improve the Manchester United team as Mourinho looks to lead the Red Devils to their first Premier League title since 2013.
Matic has helped Manchester United to keep six clean sheets in their seven Premier League games so far to remain level on points with current leaders Manchester City.
Chelsea, on the other hand, are six points adrift of the Manchester clubs after Kevin De Bruyne’s winner in the top of the table clash in west London last weekend.
Former Chelsea and Man City winger Wright-Phillips claimed that a Matic-sized void is starting to appear in Conte’s team.
“You can see that Chelsea are now starting to get going,” said Wright, speaking exclusively to 888sport.
“You can see the difference from what Matic did for them last year to what’s happening now and Chelsea are only now starting to adjust to life without Matic.”
Chelsea signed six players in the summer transfer window to bolster their squad ahead of a return to the Champions League.
