N’Golo Kante to return to Chelsea with suspected hamstring injury – report
The Chelsea midfielder is set to be assessed by the Blues' staff after suffering a suspected hamstring injury on international duty, according to reports

N’Golo Kante is set to return to Chelsea from France duty on Tuesday to be assessed by the club’s medical staff following a suspected hamstring injury, according to reports.
Sky Sports are reporting that the France international suffered the problem during his national team’s 1-0 win against Bulgaria in their World Cup qualifier.
Kante’s fitness will be assessed ahead of Chelsea’s trip to the Premier League’s basement club Crystal Palace in their next fixture at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon.
The 26-year-old is the reigning PFA player of the year after the defensive midfielder helped Chelsea to win the Premier League title in his first season at Stamford Bridge.
Kante’s injury comes at an inopportune moment for the defending champions as the Blues look to bounce back from the disappointment of a 1-0 loss to Manchester City last time out.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is already expected to be without Alvaro Morata for the trip to Crystal Palace after the summer signing suffered a hamstring problem during the loss to the Premier League leaders.
The Blues are in fourth place in the Premier League table and six points adrift of current leaders Manchester City and Manchester United.
