Chelsea to make £50m bid to sign 27-year-old next week – report
Chelsea are set to launch a £50m bid to try and sign Danny Rose from Tottenham, say reports

Chelsea are set to launch a £50m bid to try and sign Danny Rose from Tottenham Hotspur early next week, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is claiming that the Blues are keen on signing the 27-year-old defender and will make a move for the England international in the wake of Chelsea’s clash with Tottenham at Wembley on Sunday in the Premier League.
The same report says that Rose is now Chelsea’s top target to strengthen at left-back but the Blues would have to pay at least £50m to get the attention of Tottenham.
However, the story also says that Tottenham have not yet given any indication that they could be ready to sell the defender this summer.
Rose hit the headlines last week when he openly admitted that he would be keen on a move away from Spurs to join a team capable of winning major trophies.
Chelsea are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer, despite Antonio Conte having already made four new recruits.
The Blues endured a disastrous start to the season when they lost 3-2 to Burnley last week and will now turn their attentions towards bouncing back against Spurs.
