Chelsea are closing in on the signing of Alex Sandro from Juventus after he agreed personal terms with the Blues, according to reports in Italy.
Italian website Calciomercato.com is claiming that the Blues are set to complete a deal to bring the 26-year-old full-back to Stamford Bridge in the coming days.
The same report claims that Chelsea had a €60m bid for Sandro rejected last week but that the west London side are now ready to raise that bid to €70m.
The story also states that Sandro has rejected the offer of a new contract from Juventus and wants to sign for Chelsea, who have offered him a €7m-a-year salary.
Chelsea have been linked with the Brazilian defender over the last few days and it would appear that a deal is set to be completed as the Blues look to kick off their summer spending.
The west London side are thought to be on the lookout for reinforcements in a number of positions as Antonio Conte prepares his team for a return to the Champions League next season, and the increased number of fixtures that will bring.
