Pedro sends message to Chelsea fans about Diego Costa
Pedro Rodriguez admits that it will be a huge loss for Chelsea if Diego Costa were to leave the club this summer

Pedro Rodriguez has admitted that it will be a huge loss for Chelsea should Diego Costa leave the west London club this summer.
The Spanish striker’s future at the west London club has been a relentless source of speculation in recent weeks amid reports that he could be set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
There is yet to be any official announcement from either the club or the player but it would seem that Costa’s future is still up in the air.
Costa played a key role in helping Chelsea to win the Premier League title in Antonio Conte’s first season in charge at the west London club.
He scored 20 goals and made seven assists in 35 Premier League games for Conte’s side to help them regain the title.
And Pedro, who knows Costa well from having played with him at both club and international level, admits it would be a huge loss if the striker were to leave the club this summer.
Pedro told Cadena Ser: “We will see what happens to Diego but we don’t know.
“Diego gives you an added strength and more so in this league, because he is strong, he scores and he has good physical condition.
“He is obviously a very important player in attack for us. He has scored the majority of the goals for us this season.
“He is a player feared by defenders because he is fast. He scores with ease.
“If eventually it is confirmed that he will not continue with us, it will be a very big loss for us. It’s early days but I hope as a player and friend that he can stay with us.”
Chelsea have been linked with a host of players this summer but are yet to officially confirm the arrival of any new faces.
