Chelsea to announce signing this weekend and consider bid for 26-year-old – report
Chelsea are ready to announce the signing of Tiemoue Bakayoko and are also considering a move for Roma defender Kostas Manolas, say reports

Chelsea are considering making a fresh bid for Roma defender Kostas Manolas, according to reports in the British media.
The Evening Standard is reporting that the Blues are planning to announce the signing of Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko this weekend and are also “exploring” the possibility of a fresh move for Manolas.
Bakayoko would become their first summer signing of the summer ahead of Antonio Conte’s second season in charge at Stamford Bridge.
The same report states that Chelsea are hoping to announce the signing of Bakayoko in a deal worth around £35.1m this weekend and are pondering a move for Greece defender Manolas.
The story claims that Chelsea have been keeping tabs on the 26-year-old Manolas for more than two years and it was thought that the defender was set to join Zenit Saint-Petersburg last week.
However, with Chelsea said to be struggling to land their first choice defensive targets – Leonardo Bonucci and Virgil van Dijk – the west London side could be set to make a move for Manolas.
The Sport Review exclusively revealed earlier this month that Chelsea were pondering a bid for the Roma defender and it now seems as if they are ready to shore up their interest in the player.
