N’Golo Kante sends message to Chelsea fans about Tottenham
N'Golo Kante says Tottenham were Chelsea's toughest opponents last season...

N’Golo Kante has named Tottenham as Chelsea’s toughest opponents last season.
The Lilywhites ran the Blues close in the race for the Premier League title last term but Antonio Conte’s men ended up winning the trophy in the Italian manager’s first season in charge at the west London club.
Tottenham beat Chelsea in impressive fashion by sealing a 2-0 win over the Blues back in January but it was Conte’s men who ended up being crowned as champions.
And Kante, who was voted as the PFA player of the year last season, believes that the north London side were Chelsea’s toughest opponents.
Speaking to Chelsea’s website, Kante said: “I would say Tottenham [were our toughest opponents].
“We had two very tight games against them in the Premier League.
“They’re a very good team and in midfield Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele are so strong.”
Chelsea are currently preparing for a return to the Champions League next season after Conte led the Blues to thew title in his first campaign at Stamford Bridge.
The west London side, who finished 10th in the 2015-16 season, are being linked with a host of players this summer but have so far only signed goalkeeper Willy Caballero from Manchester City on a free transfer.
