Chelsea to confirm multiple new signings after Saturday – report
Chelsea will not announce the signing of Romelu Lukaku until the club's new kit deal begins, say reports

Chelsea will not announce the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Everton until after 1 July, when the Blues’ kit deal with Adidas expires, according to reports.
The Daily Express is claiming that the west London side are waiting until after this weekend to confirm their new signings this summer because Saturday marks the start of their new kit deal with Nike.
It is claimed that the Blues want their new signings to pose in the latest version of the club’s kit and therefore are unlikely to unveil any new additions before then.
The article says that the new signings will start to “roll in” after Chelsea’s new kit deal with Nike officially starts.
The same story states that Chelsea are close to tying up a deal to bring Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge from Everton this summer, and that they have placed a £70m offer for the striker on the table.
Everton, however, are expected to demand at least another £10m for the signature of the 24-year-old Belgium international, who left Chelsea to sign for the Toffees three years ago.
The reports as to why Chelsea have not made any new signings this summer would make sense, and would go some way to appeasing Blues fans who were worried about why the club’s recruitment drive had not yet started.
