Antonio Conte refused to criticise Victor Moses after he was sent off during Chelsea’s 2-1 loss to Arsenal in the FA Cup final on Saturday.

Moses was shown a second yellow card in the second half by referee Anthony Taylor for a dive in the box under pressure from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Replays showed there was no contact and that the referee was correct to dismiss the Nigerian full-back.

However, Conte did not point the finger at Moses after the disappointing result at Wembley.

Speaking at his post-match news conference at Wembley, Conte said: “The second yellow card for Moses was one of the key moments but despite the situation we were able to equalise.”

He added: “For me now it’s very difficult to tell because I saw contact with Moses and their player but I don’t know if it was a penalty or not. It was one of the key moments.”

Goals from Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey wrapped up the victory for Arsene Wenger’s men, as they secured their third FA Cup win in four years and ended a difficult season on a positive note.

Diego Costa had pulled a goal back for the west London side in the second half but Ramsey nodded home the winner just moments after Chelsea had equalised.
