Antonio Conte drops big hint about Michy Batshuayi ahead of Chelsea v Roma
Antonio Conte appears to hint that Michy Batshuayi could be set to earn a regular spot in the Chelsea team

Antonio Conte has appeared to hint that Michy Batshuayi could have a significant role to play for Chelsea in the coming weeks.
The west London side are facing something of an injury crisis after the international break, with the likes of Alvaro Morata, N’Golo Kante and Danny Drinkwater all sidelined.
Chelsea are currently gearing up for their third Champions League game of the campaign – a home clash against Italian side Roma at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
Batshuayi will be hoping to prove himself as worthy of a regular spot in the first team in the coming weeks as the Belgian striker looks to play a major role for the Blues.
The forward has struggled to hold down a place in the starting line-up since signing for Chelsea from French side Marseille in the summer of 2016.
Conte has been impressed by Batshuayi’s recent improved performances and work rate.
Speaking at a news conference at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground on Friday afternoon, Conte said: “If you compare Michy with last season he has improved a lot.
“He understands this league because it’s not simple. He understands our style of football but don’t forget he’s another young player and he’s working hard to improve.
“This season, he’s finding many opportunities to play, in the Champions League, Premier League and Carabao Cup, coming on and starting games. Last season he had few opportunities but this season he’s playing a lot.
“The most important thing is to show he’s improving.”
Chelsea are aiming to try and defend their Premier League title this season after they won the trophy in style under Conte last term.
Batshuayi scored the all-important goal which clinched Chelsea the title against West Brom back in May.
