Michy Batshuayi sends message to Chelsea manager Antonio Conte
Michy Batshuayi has a message for Chelsea boss Antonio Conte as he bids to earn a starting spot with the Blues

Michy Batshuayi has vowed to continue working hard for a place in the starting line-up with Chelsea after his strong performance in the Blues’ 4-2 win over Watford on Saturday.
The Belgian forward has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the first team at Stamford Bridge since he was brought to the club from Marseille by Antonio Conte back in July 2016.
However, the 24-year-old has scored a handful of crucial goals for the Blues, including netting the all-important strike which handed Chelsea the Premier League title against West Brom back in May.
He also scored the winner in the 2-1 victory over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League group stage last month.
The Belgian will be hoping to stake his claim for a regular starting spot in the first team at Stamford Bridge in the coming weeks and months.
And the striker has vowed to continue to work hard and prove himself to Chelsea boss Conte.
Speaking to Chelsea’s website after Saturday’s victory, Batshuayi said: “I’m staying focused, training hard and working hard.
“It was good because I came on the pitch and did my job by scoring two goals, the three points is good for the team.
“I’m very happy, mostly for the three points in a difficult moment, and now we must focus on the next game.”
Saturday’s win left Chelsea nine points behind leaders Manchester City in the race for the Premier League title.
The west London club have won the Premier League title in two of the last three seasons.
