Antonio Conte is hoping to have N'Golo Kante ready for Chelsea's trip to Roma on Tuesday night

Antonio Conte has revealed that he is hoping that N’Golo Kante will be back available for selection for Chelsea’s Champions League clash with Roma on Tuesday night.
The French midfielder has been out of action with a muscular injury suffered during the most recent international break.
It had been thought that Kante could be set to make a return for Chelsea’s trip to Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
However, Conte has now revealed that Kante will not be available for this weekend’s game, although he is hoping to have him back for the trip to Italy on Tuesday night.
Speaking at his pre-match news conference on Friday afternoon, Conte said: “N’Golo is not still ready, we have to wait.
“I hope to have him back for the Roma game.”
Kante has been a key part of the Chelsea squad since signing for the Blues from Leicester City back in the summer of 2016.
He was voted as the PFA player of the year last season as he helped Chelsea to win the title in his first campaign at the west London club.
Chelsea head into their game with Bournemouth on Saturday looking to make it back to back wins in the top flight after their thrilling 4-2 victory over Watford last weekend.
