Manager provides latest injury update on key Chelsea star
Didier Deschamps gives the latest update on Chelsea star N'Golo Kante's injury suffered while on France duty

Didier Deschamps has confirmed that Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has picked up a thigh injury and will definitely miss France’s clash against Belarus on Tuesday.
The Chelsea midfielder suffered the problem in the first half of France’s clash with Bulgaria on Saturday night and had to be replaced in the 34th minute.
It remains to be seen exactly how long Kante will be out of action for but the France boss confirmed that he will definitely miss Tuesday’s game.
Deschamps told his post-match news conference on Saturday night: “It’s a muscular problem behind the thigh. It is fixed for Tuesday.”
The extent of Kante’s injury has not yet been confirmed but Chelsea could do without another fitness problem after Alvaro Morata suffered a hamstring injury last weekend.
The Spanish striker has been working on his fitness levels at Chelsea’s Cobham training base as he looks to get back fit as quickly as possible.
It remains to be seen, however, whether Morata will be back available for selection for Chelsea’s trip to Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Blues, who won the title in Antonio Conte’s first campaign in charge last season, are currently fourth in the table and six points behind leaders Manchester City after seven games of the new campaign.
