Chris Sutton sends Chelsea warning to Tiemoue Bakayoko
Chris Sutton explain why he has not been particularly impressed by Tiemoue Bakayoko at Chelsea

Chris Sutton has claimed that Tiemoue Bakayoko has not lived up to expectations since his move to Chelsea from Monaco last summer.
The French midfielder signed for the west London side from the Ligue 1 club after Antonio Conte deemed Nemanja Matic to be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge and allowed him to leave for Manchester United,
Bakayoko has been a regular fixture in the Chelsea team since his move to the club but most Blues fans would agree that he is yet to hit top gear for Conte’s men.
The 23-year-old has scored two goals and made two assists in 20 Premier League appearances for the west London side but is yet to really convince in a Chelsea shirt.
And Sutton is not convinced about what he has seen from Bakayoko following the first half of his first season at the club.
Speaking to BT Sport on Saturday, Sutton said: “I don’t think Bakayoko has done what it said on the tin since he’s come in.
“I don’t think he’s performed at the level which Chelsea supporters would have expected him to.
“Danny Drinkwater, when he first went to Chelsea, I didn’t think warranted a starting place but there is [now] a real fight on.”
Bakayoko will be hoping to feature for Chelsea when the Blues take on Arsenal in the first leg of their League Cup semi-final clash on Wednesday night at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are currently in third place in the Premier League table as they look to close the gap to Manchester City.
