Glenn Hoddle opens up about Tiemoue Bakyoko at Chelsea
Glenn Hoddle has his say about Tiemoue Bakayoko following his transfer to Chelsea from Monaco in the summer

Glenn Hoddle has warned Tiemoue Bakayoko that he must “do more” at Chelsea following his transfer to the club from Monaco in the summer.
The French midfielder arrived at Stamford Bridge in the summer after Antonio Conte deemed Nemanja Matic to be surplus to requirements at the club and allowed him to leave to sign for Manchester United.
Bakayoko has been a regular fixture in the Chelsea team so far this season, with the midfielder having scored two goals and made two assists for the Blues so far.
The 23-year-old played the full 90 minutes in Chelsea’s thrilling 3-3 draw with Roma in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
However, former England manager Hoddle has not been completely impressed by what he has seen from Bakayoko so far.
Speaking on BT Sport on Wednesday night after the Champions League clash, Hoddle said: “Bakayoko has got to come to the fray. He’s got to do more for me.
“He’s come over with a reputation and I’m not quite sure yet what he’s got.
“He’s a big, strong player but he got knocked off the ball a few times tonight.
“Does he get in the box? Does he hold? I’m not sure.”
Bakayoko will be aiming to help Chelsea return to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon when the Blues host Watford at Stamford Bridge.
Conte will be desperately hoping that his side will return to winning ways in the Premier League after they lost their last two games in the top flight to leave them nine points behind early leaders Manchester City.
