Chelsea line up £61.7m bid to land first summer signing – report
Chelsea are planning to return to Juventus with an improved bid to sign Alex Sandro, according to reports in Italy

Chelsea are planning to return to Juventus with an improved bid to sign Alex Sandro this week, according to reports in Italy.
Italian website Calciomercato.com is reporting that the west London side are prepared to increase their offer to sign the Brazilian as the Blues look to compete their first signing of the summer.
The same report claims that Juventus are now expecting an offer of as much as €70m (£61.7m) for the left-back in the coming days as Antonio Conte looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season.
Chelsea are said to be prepared to hand Sandro a five-year contract worth more than £6m-a-year as Conte prepares his team for a return to the Champions League next term.
The report comes after Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta confirmed that the Italian club had already turned down a big bid from Chelsea for Sandro this summer.
Conte is looking to bolster his squad as he prepares his team for a return to the Champions League following their impressive Premier League title triumph last season.
The Blues came up short in the FA Cup final, however, when they were beaten by Arsenal at Wembley last month.
