Frank Lampard sends message to Antonio Conte about reported Chelsea target
Frank Lampard feels that reported Chelsea transfer target Romelu Lukaku would be a good addition for the Blues

Frank Lampard believes that Romelu Lukaku would be a good signing for Chelsea because the striker has developed a huge amount since leaving Stamford Bridge.
The west London side have been heavily linked with a bid to bring the Belgian forward back to Stamford Bridge, three years after he left Chelsea to sign for Everton.
Lukaku has been touted as a target for Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, who is looking to bolster his attacking options ahead of his side’s return to the Champions League next season.
Lampard played alongside Lukaku at Chelsea before the striker was deemed to be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge by then-manager Jose Mourinho.
And the former England midfielder has been very impressed by the improvements Lukaku has made since leaving Chelsea to sign for Everton.
Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ, Lampard said: “I know Lukaku from playing with him.
“It was very early on in his career and maybe it was too early for him during his first spell at Chelsea.
“He didn’t really get the chances but he’s certainly developed a huge amount since he left the club.”
Chelsea are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer but the Blues have so far not been able to confirm any new arrivals.
The west Londoners are preparing for a return to the Champions League next season after they won the title last term in Conte’s first campaign in charge.
