Chelsea to offer 26-year-old £100,000-a-week deal to become second signing – report
Chelsea are set to ramp up their efforts to sign Alex Sandro from Juventus by offering him a lucrative contract, say reports

Chelsea are set to ramp up their efforts to sign Alex Sandro from Juventus this week and are ready to offer him £100,000 a week in wages to sign for the Blues, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the west London side are hoping to have a breakthrough in their efforts to try and tempt the Brazilian full-back to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The same report claims that Chelsea are prepared to better Juventus’ offer of a new deal of around £76,000 a week by tabling a contract worth significantly more to the player.
The story says Juve are “fighting” to keep hold of Sandro but Chelsea appear determined to land the 26-year-old full-back as Antonio Conte prepares for his second season in charge at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are believed to be on the lookout for a number of key signings this summer but have so far only concluded a deal to sign goalkeeper Willy Caballero on a free transfer from Manchester City.
The same article in the Telegraph states that the Blues are hoping to wrap up deals for Sandro, Antonio Rudiger and Tiemoue Bakayoko this week.
