Willian sends message to Chelsea supporters about Eden Hazard
Willian is hoping that Eden Hazard can rediscover his best form for Chelsea this season
Willian has described Eden Hazard as an “unbelievable” player and is tipping the Belgian to play a key role for Chelsea this season.
Hazard has earned a reputation as one of the Premier League’s finest attacking talents since his arrival at Stamford Bridge from French side Lille back in 2012.
The 26-year-old missed Chelsea’s opening games of the season as he continued his recovery from an ankle problem, but the playmaker is now fit and ready for selection.
And his Chelsea team-mate Willian clearly holds Hazard in high regard as the pair look to try and help Antonio Conte’s side win major trophies this season.
Willian told Sky Sports of Hazard: “He is an unbelievable player, top quality and I hope he comes back stronger to help us his season.”
Both Willian and Hazard will be hoping to feature for Chelsea when the Blues return to Champions League action next weekend with a crunch clash against Atletico Madrid in Spain.
The Blues kicked off their Champions League campaign with a 6-0 thrashing of Qarabag at Stamford Bridge earlier this month.
Chelsea won the Premier League title under Conte last season but did not have the distraction of any European football as they focused solely on domestic affairs.
The west London side missed out on a domestic double when they were beaten by Arsenal in the FA Cup final in May.
