Ex-midfielder reacts to Michy Batshuayi’s display in Chelsea v Norwich City
Jermaine Jenas reacts to Michy Batshuayi's performance for Chelsea in the FA Cup clash with Norwich

Jermaine Jenas claimed that Michy Batshuayi did not have a good game during Chelsea’s FA Cup clash with Norwich City at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
Batshuayi, whose future at Stamford Bridge has been a source of speculation in recent days, struggled like most of his team-mates in the first half in west London but netted with a solid finish at the near post in the 55th minute.
The Belgian striker has struggled to break into the first team at Chelsea since arriving at the club from Marseille back in 2016 and has found his opportunities to be severely limited.
However, he sent a message to Blues boss Antonio Conte by scoring the opener in the third-round replay for the west London side.
However, Norwich fought back and equalised seconds before the full-time whistle thanks to Jamal Lewis’s header to force extra-tine.
Chelsea went through on penalties after Eden Hazard, N’Golo Kante, Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Willian all converted their efforts from the spot in the shootout.
Former midfielder Jenas was clearly not too impressed by Batshuayi’s performance.
Speaking during BBC One‘s coverage of the game, Jenas said: “It’s been an experience for Batshuayi tonight.
“He’ll know that he hasn’t played well, but at the same time, it’s his goal that separates the teams.”
The Blues will now turn their attentions back to Premier League affairs and their trip to the south coast to take on Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday lunchtime.
Chelsea are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table as they aim to finish as close to Manchester City as possible after having won the top-flight title last season.
