Chelsea’s Cech: Other goalkeepers texted me after my Hernández save
Petr Cech reveals that other goalkeepers texted him in admiration after the Chelsea man's save from Javier Hernández

Petr Cech has revealed that other goalkeepers texted him in admiration after the Chelsea man pulled off one of the saves of the season to deny Javier Hernández at Stamford Bridge on Monday.
EXCLUSIVE – Chelsea are in transition, says Essien
With Chelsea leading 1-0 thanks to Demba Ba’s opener, Cech somehow managed to tip the Manchester United striker’s goal-bound header over the bar and prevent an equaliser.
The west Londoners held on to secure a victory that booked their place in the FA Cup semi-finals against Manchester City.
And Cech revealed that he received plenty of praise for the save after Monday’s game.
“I knew before the cross came that Hernández was there, so I knew I’d have to be really quick to get there, that’s what allowed me to make the save,” Cech told Chelsea’s website.
“You need to have awareness of the people around you as it helps you make the right decision.
“It was an important moment in the game, I’m sure a lot of people could already see the ball in the goal, so I was glad I got enough on it to push it over.
“I got a few messages from other players and keepers, it’s great that people can appreciate the save. I’m pleased with the way I played.”
