Antonio Rudiger is in London to undergo a medical ahead of his proposed transfer to Chelsea, according to reports in Italy.
Sky Italia is reporting that the Roma defender has travelled to the UK to complete his move to the west London club as the Blues look to tie up their second signing of the summer transfer window.
The same story claims that the German defender is set to sign a five-year contract with the Blues worth £3.5m a season and around £77,000 a week.
The article also states that Chelsea have agreed a fee of around an initial £29m plus £5m in add-ons for the defender.
Chelsea have been linked with a host of players this summer but have so far only brought in goalkeeper Willy Caballero on a free transfer.
Antonio Conte is likely to want to bolster his defensive options this summer after having lost both John Terry and Nathan Ake in recent days.
