Arsene Wenger is convinced that Chelsea will sign a number of other players in the summer transfer window.

The Blues have already brought in four new players this summer as Antonio Conte prepares for his second season in charge at the club, but the west London side have also let a number of stars leave Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have signed Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata this term as they gear up for their second season under Conte.

However, the Blues continue to be linked with a number of other players as Conte looks to prepare his team for a return to the Champions League this season.

Wenger has been watching the transfer business of Arsenal’s rivals closely this season and the Frenchman is confident that the Blues are set to splash more cash before the close of the transfer window at the end of the month.

Wenger is quoted as saying by Goal: “It’s not finished – Chelsea have bought [Alvaro] Morata and have not lost [Diego] Costa yet, and they will certainly buy more.

“In the middle of the transfer market it’s difficult to predict [the season].”

Chelsea are looking to defend their Premier League title this season and will kick off their campaign with a home clash against Burnley at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

The west London side will also make a return to the Champions League group stage next month.
