Chelsea join Liverpool in the race to sign exciting 23-year-old England star – report
Chelsea are ready to rival Liverpool and Manchester City in the race to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal, according to reports

Chelsea are set to rival Liverpool for the signature of Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to reports in the English media.
Sky Sports is reporting that the Premier League champions have entered the race to sign the England international in the 2017 summer transfer window.
The same article states that Oxlade-Chamberlain’s negotiations with Arsenal have hit a stumbling block, which has left the midfielder feeling frustrated with his current employers.
Chelsea will rival Liverpool and Manchester City for the promising 23-year-old, whose current deal is set expire at the end of the 2017-18 season.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was a key part of the Arsenal team last term as the versatile midfielder finished with a return of two goals and nine assists in 29 appearances in the Premier League.
However, the English midfielder was named in Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up in just 16 Premier League games.
Oxlade-Chamberlain arrived at Arsenal in an £11m deal from Southampton in 2010 with a reputation as one of England’s most-exciting prospects.
However, the Arsenal star has failed to kick on at the Emirates Stadium and perhaps a change of scene would allow Oxlade-Chamberlain to realise his potential.
