Top 24-year-old defender undergoes medical in LA ahead of Chelsea move – report
Antonio Rudiger has had his medical with Chelsea in LA before heading off on his summer holidays, according to reports

Antonio Rudiger has undergone his medical in Los Angeles ahead of the defender’s proposed £34.2m move to Premier League champions Chelsea, according to reports in Italy.
Sky Sport Italia, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the AS Roma defender has travelled to United States to begin his summer break after helping Germany to win the Confederations Cup.
The same article states that Rudiger had his medical with the Premier League champions at their LA base before going on holiday as Chelsea kick-start their pre-season campaign in California.
According to the Italian media outlet, Chelsea have reached a €39m (£34.2m) agreement with Serie A outfit Roma to purchase Rudiger in the 2017 summer transfer window.
Chelsea have only signed Manchester City reserve goalkeeper Willy Caballero in the summer transfer window so far in what has been a largely frustrating spell since the conclusion of the 2016-17 Premier League campaign.
The west London side won the title with two games to spare last term after finishing seven points clear of closest rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
