Chelsea have been handed a boost in the race to sign Arturo Vidal given Bayern Munich are unwilling to send the player on loan to Inter, according to reports

Chelsea have been handed a boost after Bayern Munich ruled out sending Arturo Vidal on loan to Inter Milan, according to reports in Italy.
Italian transfer gossip website Calcio Mercato, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that Bundesliga giants aren’t interested in sending Vidal to Inter on loan.
The same article states that there is no chance Vidal will end up at San Siro in January given Bayern Munich are unwilling to do a deal for the temporary transfer of Vidal to Inter.
Defending Premier League champions Chelsea have also been linked with a move to sign the experienced Chile international ahead of the January transfer window.
Blues boss Antonio Conte worked with the box-to-box midfielder for two seasons in Turin as the pair won successive Serie A titles before the head coach took over the reins of the Azzurri team.
According to the same story, Chelsea are in pole position to sign the South American next month given Bayern’s reluctance to deal a deal with Inter.
Chelsea signed six players in the summer transfer window following their title success in the Italian’s first season in charge at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have won the Premier League in two of the past three seasons.
