Chelsea to receive £22m offer for key star – report
Atletico Madrid are prepared to spend an initial £22m on Chelsea striker Diego Costa, according to reports in England

Atletico Madrid could be set to make a £22m offer to sign Chelsea striker Diego Costa, according to reports in the English media.
The Guardian is reporting that the Spanish giants are prepared to spend £22m plus add-ons on a deal to bring Costa back to the Vicente Calderon in the summer transfer window.
The same article is stating that los Rojiblancos are ready to bring in the Spain international this summer despite Fifa handing Atletico Madrid a transfer ban last month.
It means that Costa wouldn’t be able to play for the La Liga giants until January, when their transfer ban will be lifted.
According to The Guardian, Chelsea haven’t agreed a deal with Atletico to sell Costa in the summer transfer window so far, with the Blues thought to be holding out for a £40m offer.
The west London side signed Costa in a £32m deal to sign the controversial striker from Atletico in the 2014 summer transfer window.
The Spanish forward has won two Premier League titles and the EFL Cup since his move to Stamford Bridge.
