Striker adamant about when Chelsea transfer should happen – report
Diego Costa wants to move to Atletico Madrid from Chelsea in January transfer window, according to reports in England

Diego Costa is holding out for a return to Atletico Madrid in January, but Chelsea don’t want the striker lingering around that long at Stamford Bridge, according to reports in the English media.
The Gambling Times is reporting that the Spain international is hoping to secure a return to his former club after he achieved great success under Atletico boss Diego Simeone.
The same article is stating that Chelsea don’t want Costa to be at the club heading into the 2017-18 season after his current manager Antonio Conte informed the Spanish striker that he is surplus to requirements at the Premier League champions.
Atletico, though, can’t make any signings until the January transfer window after being handed a transfer ban by Fifa.
Chelsea have been linked with a potential move to sign Everton striker Romelu Lukaku this summer after the Belgium international scored 25 times in 36 games in the Premier League last term.
The Blues haven’t made any signings in the summer transfer window so far despite their title rivals all making a number of recruitments.
