Chelsea line up £60m bid to secure first summer signing – report
Chelsea are lining up a £60m bid for Alex Sandro as they search for their first summer signing, say reports

Chelsea are lining up an improved £60m bid to sign Alex Sandro from Juventus this week, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Express is reporting that the Blues are ready to make a fresh bid for the Brazilian left-back after they had a £52m offer turned down by the west London club last week.
The same report claims that Juventus are “resigned” to losing Sandro should Chelsea be able to guarantee the 26-year-old improved wages at Stamford Bridge.
It is also claimed that Juventus will not stand in Sandro’s way if he does indeed want to leave Turin this summer.
The article says that Chelsea face competition from both Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain but that Antonio Conte remains “determined” to bring the left-back to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Chelsea have been linked with a host of players in the last few weeks but the Blues are yet to officially confirm the signing of any new stars this summer.
The west London club will be expected to strengthen significantly this summer as they prepare for a return to the Champions League next season.
