Chelsea will explore the possibility of signing Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid after missing out on Romelu Lukaku, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Blues are set to switch their attentions towards trying to land the 24-year-old forward as they look to bolster their attacking options ahead of next season.
The same story states that Diego Costa is likely to leave Chelsea this summer after being informed by text message by Antonio Conte that he is no longer part of his plans.
The article says that Conte is a keen admirer of Morata but that the striker is likely to command a transfer fee of more than £70m.
The story also quotes Torino forward Andrea Belotti as a potential target for the west London side this summer.
Chelsea are likely to be keen to bolster their attacking options ahead of next season as Conte prepares his team for a return to the Champions League next term.
The west London side won the Premier League last season but came up short in the FA Cup final, when they were beaten by Arsenal.
