Chelsea set to make 35-year-old their first summer signing – report
Goalkeeper Willy Caballero could be set to become Chelsea's first summer signing, according to reports

Chelsea are set to complete a deal to sign Willy Caballero on a free transfer after the goalkeeper was released by Manchester City, according to reports.
ESPN is reporting that the Blues are set to sign the 35-year-old shot-stopper as Antonio Conte looks to bring in cover following Asmir Begovic’s transfer to Bournemouth this summer.
The same report claims that Chelsea are locked in talks about the possibility of bringing Caballero to Stamford Bridge this summer in what would be their first signing of the transfer window.
Caballero would be likely to serve as a back-up goalkeeper to number one choice Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge next season.
Manchester City confirmed earlier this summer that the Argentine would be one of several players released by the Citizens.
Chelsea are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new players this summer as Conte looks to get his team ready for their Premier League title defence, as well as a return to the Champions League next season.
The Blues won the title last term but came up short in the FA Cup, when they were beaten 2-1 by Arsenal in last month’s final.
