Chelsea likely to fail in their bid to sign talented 20-year-old in January – report
Chelsea look set to fail in their bid to sign Leon Bailey from Bayer Leverkusen in January, say reports

Chelsea look set to fail in their bid to sign Leon Bailey in the January transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Evening Standard is reporting that a move for the Blues to land the 20-year-old Jamaica international is looking increasingly unlikely for the west London side.
The same report states that Chelsea are eager to try and add at least two more players to their squad in the January transfer window as Antonio Conte looks to prepare his team for a positive second half of the season.
The story says that Chelsea have been keeping tabs on Bailey’s progress at Bayer Leverkusen in recent months.
However, it is now being reported that Bayer Leverkusen are not willing to listen to offers for the attacking winger in the January transfer window, news that has dampened the Blues’ hopes of landing him in the new year.
The same article says that Chelsea were hoping to be successful with a bid of around £20m for the winger, but it now seems that they are facing a battle in trying to get the German club to sell their prized asset.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are currently preparing for their Premier League clash against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday lunchtime.
