Reported Chelsea, Man United target makes announcement about his future
Reported Chelsea and Manchester United target Romelu Lukaku reveals that he has an agreement with another club but refused to name them
Romelu Lukaku has revealed that he has an “agreement” to join a new club this summer as he continues to be linked with Chelsea and Manchester United.
The Everton forward’s situation has been a relentless source of speculation in recent months after his sparkling form for the Toffees last term.
Lukaku has been linked with a return to his former club Chelsea in recent weeks and has also been touted as a target for Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
The striker was giving little away about his future when quizzed about his situation but did reveal that he has made a decision about where he will be playing his football next season.
Lukaku is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail: “I’m staying calm and we have an agreement with the club as well.
“I’m just going to rest for a few days and then just prepare for next season.
“I want to put the time in on my holiday to take everything to another level and be better than I was last year. We stay calm and at least we have a direction where we want to go.”
Lukaku was one of the Premier League’s top players last season and scored 25 goals in the Premier League for Everton.
He also notched up six assists in the top flight under Everton manager Ronald Koeman.
