Chelsea told to make top 24-year-old striker their first signing
Joe Cole is urging Chelsea to make a transfer bid to re-sign Romelu Lukaku this summer

Chelsea have been urged to secure the signing of Everton striker Romelu Lukaku as their first summer recruit by Joe Cole.
The west London club have been linked with a host of players in the summer transfer window but have thus far not announced any new signings.
Antonio Conte is widely thought to be keen to bolster his attacking options at Stamford Bridge as the Italian manager prepares his team for a return to the Champions League next season.
Lukaku has been touted as a possible target for Chelsea in the summer transfer window as the Blues reportedly ponder a bid to bring their former striker back to the club from Everton.
And former Chelsea midfielder Cole believes that the 24-year-old would be a great signing for the west London club this summer.
Speaking to Goal, Cole said: “Lukaku, there’s a market for him, and you are competing for players.
“I like Lukaku. I’d take Lukaku, he is like for like with Costa, but they only need one or two players and just keep the continuity going.
“I don’t know his character so it is hard to say [whether returning to Stamford Bridge would affect him], but I would say is that the pressure is different when you play for Chelsea, rather than Everton. He is younger [than Costa], that’s in his favour.”
Chelsea are gearing up for a return to the Champions League next season after the Blues finished top of the table last term.
However, the west London side came up short in the FA Cup final, when they were beaten by Arsenal 2-1 last month.
