Ray Wilkins replies when asked if 24-year-old would be good Chelsea signing
The Chelsea legend tells Antonio Conte not to sign Ross Barkley from Everton in January

Ray Wilkins doesn’t believe Everton midfielder Ross Barkley would be a good fit for Chelsea.
The England international has been linked with a potential move to Stamford Bridge ahead of the January transfer window.
Barkley was on the brink of a move to the defending Premier League champions in the summer before the 24-year-old had a change of heart.
Indeed, the attacking midfielder completed a medical at the west London club before deciding to remain at Everton to give his future some more thought.
Barkley hasn’t played a Premier League minute this season due to a serious hamstring problem at the start of the season.
Chelsea are looking to add more depth to their squad ahead of a tilt at the Champions League crown following a last-16 draw against La Liga giants Barcelona.
The Everton star could be a potential signing given the attacking midfielder has little over seven months remaining on his current Toffees deal.
Asked whether Barkley would be a good signing for Chelsea in the January transfer window, ex-Blues assistant manager Wilkins told BBC Radio 5 Live: “I don’t see it as a fit.
“I want to see Ross Barkley playing for Sam Allardyce.”
Chelsea are in third place in the Premier League table but 14 points adrift of leaders Manchester City.
