Chelsea could move to sign Belgium winger in January – report
Chelsea could reignite their interest in signing Yannick Carrasco from Atletico Madrid in January, say reports

Chelsea could be preparing a fresh attempt to sign Yannick Carrasco from Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish newspaper AS, as quoted by the Sun, is reporting that Atletico Madrid are ready to let the Belgium international leave the Spanish club in the mid-season transfer window as they plan a major overhaul of their squad.
The same report claims that Chelsea tried to sign the winger in the summer but the Blues were unable to strike a deal with Atletico Madrid.
However, now that the Spanish club are open to selling the 24-year-old, Chelsea could be in line to make a fresh attempt to sign Carrasco, according to the same story.
Carrasco has scored three goals and made three assists in 12 La Liga appearances for the west London club so far this season.
Chelsea are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks as the January transfer window edges closes.
The west London side find themselves in third place in the Premier League table and way off the pace in the race for the title, with Manchester City out of sight at the top.
Chelsea take on Stoke City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
