Chelsea transfers: Frank Lampard should leave Blues – Gianluca Vialli
Chelsea transfers: Former Blues manager Gianluca Vialli reckons Frank Lampard should leave Stamford Bridge in the summer

Gianluca Vialli believes Chelsea and Frank Lampard should part company on good terms at the end of the season.
The 34-year-old is yet to pen a new deal at Stamford Bridge, with the England international’s current contract set to expire in the summer.
Lampard has netted 13 times in 27 Premier League games this season and the midfielder is two strikes away from breaking Bobby Tambling’s Blues goal record.
While Vialli, who spent three seasons at the west London outfit between 1996 and 1999, wants Lampard to score his 202nd and 203rd Chelsea goals, the Italian reckons Lampard should leave in the summer.
“In my opinion it’s probably the right time for them to say goodbye to each other and leave on good terms,” Vialli told Sky Sports News.
“Frank has a fantastic opportunity to try something new, perhaps in Los Angeles or somewhere else in America, have fun for the next three or four years and make some money.
“Then one day he could perhaps come back to Chelsea as a hero. I really hope he scores a few more goals to become their top-scorer in the history of the club.”
Lampard has won three Premier League titles, four FA Cups and the Champions League during an 11-year spell at Stamford Bridge.
