Chelsea transfers: Frank Lampard will leave Stamford Bridge in the summer on a free transfer, the midfielder's agent confirms

Frank Lampard will leave Chelsea in the summer on a free transfer, the midfielder’s agent has confirmed.
The 34-year-old has been in sparkling form in recent weeks, with a match-winning brace against Everton before becoming Chelsea’s joint second highest goal-scorer of all-time with a goal against Southampton in the FA Cup.
The England international has repeatedly admitted that there have been no talks over a new deal, with the Chelsea playmaker’s current contract set to expire in the summer.
And Lampard’s agent Steve Kutner confirmed that the Blues have informed the former West Ham United youth graduate that he will not be offered a new contract at Chelsea to keep him beyond the summer.
“Chelsea executives told Frank in Japan during the Club World Cup then again reconfirmed with me after the Everton victory that in no circumstances will he be offered a new contract to stay at the club after the end of this season,” said Lampard’s agent Steve Kutner.
“Nothing since has changed in any respect.
“Frank has had to accept that and just wants to carry on playing football for Chelsea so as to finish the season as successfully as possible for the club that he loves.”
