Chelsea transfers: Mario Balotelli says he plans to stay at AC Milan until next summer's World Cup amid reports of Blues interest

Mario Balotelli says he will remain at AC Milan until at least the end of the season despite reported interest from Chelsea.
The Italy international has scored 18 goals in 21 Serie A appearances since sealing a £19m move to Milan from Manchester City in January 2012.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to the Blues where the striker’s former Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho is currently in charge.
But Balotelli doesn’t want any distractions ahead of next summer’s World Cup.
“I will remain at Milan – I must arrive at the World Cup especially tranquil,” said Balotelli.
Reports in Italy had suggested that Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi was open to offers for the controversial forward after a fallout between the pair.
However i Rossoneri have since issued a statement rubbishing talk of Balotelli leaving the San Siro outfit in the January transfer window.
“AC Milan deny absolutely and with strength the declarations that would have been referred to the Milan president about an unthinkable collocation of Mario Balotelli on the market,” a Milan statement read.
“Mario Balotelli is and remains a Milan player.”
