Chelsea transfers: Thibaut Courtois not keen on Blues return
Chelsea transfers: Thibaut Courtois expresses his desire to stay on loan at Atletico Madrid for at least another season

Thibaut Courtois has expressed his desire to stay on loan at Atletico Madrid for at least another season rather than return to his parent club Chelsea.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper has been on loan at the Spanish club for two seasons since signing for Chelsea from Genk back in 2011.
Courtois, who has impressed during his stint in Spain, helped Atletico win the Copa del Rey after a 2-1 victory over Real Madrid on Friday night.
And the Belgian shot-stopper says he would rather stay in Spain rather than return to Chelsea and be a back-up for Blues No1 Petr Cech.
“I know Chelsea are a fair club. The board are smart people and know I need to play,” Courtois is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
“I like the Chelsea project with young players very much. In two or three years Chelsea will have a team to win everything.
“I want to stay. I’d rather play in La Liga than be a substitute in the Premier League.
“There’s a World Cup and I want to go. Here I will be able to play in the Champions League and there’s no better place to play than here. At Atletico I have progressed a lot.”
