Chelsea transfers: Wesley Sneijder still in contact with Jose Mourinho
Chelsea transfers: Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder says he has kept in touch with new Blues boss Jose Mourinho

Wesley Sneijder has revealed that he has kept in touch with Jose Mourinho amid speculation the Chelsea manager could make a bid for the Galatasaray star.
The Netherlands international was a key part of Mourinho’s all-conquering Inter Milan side which won the Serie A title, Coppa Italia and Champions League crown in 2010.
Sneijder’s career has spiralled downwards since Mourinho left the San Siro, culminating in switch to Turkish side Galatasaray in the January transfer window.
The former Inter boss signed a four-year deal with Chelsea on Monday, but Sneijder doubts whether the Blues need another attacking midfielder in their ranks.
“I have a great relationship with Jose Mourinho,” Sneijder told SporX. “We have kept in contact since our days at Inter.
“Does Chelsea need a playmaker? I’m not sure.
“In soccer you can never be certain of what will happen next but I’m very happy in Turkey.”
Galatasaray faced Mourinho’s former side, Real Madrid, in the Champions League quarter-finals this season, suffering a 5-3 aggregate loss to Los Blancos.
“Reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League was our target and we reached it,” he added.
“The first leg against Real Madrid was disappointing, had we played better we could have progressed. The home leg with the 12th man behind us was amazing.”
