Michael Owen states his prediction for Chelsea v Brighton
Michael Owen looks ahead to Chelsea's clash with Brighton in the Premier League on Boxing Day

Michael Owen is tipping Chelsea to claim a comfortable victory over Brighton and Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day.
The Blues head into the game looking to get back to winning ways after the disappointment of their goalless draw with Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
That result left the west London side in third place in the Premier League table and 16 points behind leaders Manchester City at the half-way stage of the season.
It looks increasingly likely that Chelsea will be left scrapping for a top-four finish this season rather than challenge for the title.
However, former Liverpool FC star Owen is fully expecting to see the west London side claim all three points on Boxing Day in front of their home fans.
Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “Brighton have failed to score in their last three games against Chelsea and it is hard to see how Chris Hughton’s Seagulls can get a result at Stamford Bridge.
“Alvaro Morata missed the goalless draw at Goodison on Saturday through suspension but the Spanish international striker will be back on Boxing Day and I expect the champions to win with something to spare.”
Chelsea won the Premier League title in style last season under Antonio Conte in the Italian manager’s first season in charge at the club.
However, their struggles to keep up with Manchester City this time around may prompt the west London side to spend big in the January transfer window.
The Blues will take on Barcelona in the last 16 of the Champions League in the new year.
