Paul Merson states his title prediction ahead of Chelsea v Crystal Palace
The former Arsenal midfielder believes Chelsea will coast to a comfortable win against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge

Paul Merson is confident Chelsea will edge one step closer to the Premier League title with a straightforward win against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues are sitting 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League table with 10 games to go ahead of second-placed Tottenham Hotspur in the title race.
The west London side have only lost one of their last 22 games in the Premier League to underline their status as title favourites.
Chelsea will look to regroup after most of Antonio Conte’s squad were in action during the international break.
However, former Arsenal midfielder Merson is confident Chelsea will coast to victory over Crystal Palace in the Premier League title race.
“Nothing but a Chelsea win here. I just don’t see how Crystal Palace can hold them, despite regaining some good form,” Merson told Sky Sports.
“They won a football match without having a shot on target against Watford, but there’s no way they’ll be able to stop Chelsea. It’s Chelsea’s title, too. There aren’t enough games left to catch them in my opinion.”
Chelsea finished in tenth place in the Premier League table following a disappointing defence of their title under Jose Mourinho.
The west London side appointed Conte as their new manager at the end of the 2015-16 season.
The Italian signed five players in the summer transfer window to overhaul their squad.
